Standard SWCV missing at SPROXY

Hi All,

I have imported Standard SAP SWC (SRM SERVER 7.0) in ESR(PI7.1) and made all connections for ABAP Proxy and connected successfully from ECC6.0 to PI7.1.But when i say SPROXY(ECC6.0) i can only able to see the customized SWCV which i have created manually in SLD and imported into ESR but not the Standard SWC (SRM SERVER 7.0). Later i went and checked in SLD i can see SWC SRM SERVER 7.0 but with out product.And also tried by adding some of standard SWC to business system but no luck...

Can anyone suggest me regarding this..

Hello Kalyan

You will not be able to see the standard SAP delivered contents in SPROXY. This is by design.

Create a new SWCV and copy the objects from the SAP delivered SWCV into this. You will then be able to see your own SWCV with the copied SAP delivered objects in SPROXY.

You can only see SAP standard SWVC in the system, where it is installed, that means the components which you see in system status.

So you cannot see SRM in ECC. That works as designed.

Thanks for the reply...I found the Software component called SAP_ABA->release 701--

Later i imported the SWC called SAP_ABA 7.00 in PI7.1 at ESR. Still i couldn't able to find my SWCV at SPROXY(ECC6.0)

Could you please suggest what all the necessary things i need to do...As the connection to ESR from ECC6.0 is successful and able to get customized SWC's but facing problem with SAP Standard SWC's.

Hi Kalyan

Please check the correct version is there or not , what i could see is in Pi u have SAP_ABA 7.00 ECC its SAP_ABA 7.01

the components should be same.

Hi Srinivas,

I didn't find the .tpz file of SWC for SAP_ABA 7.01 at Service Market...thats the reason i imported with earlier version.

Any suggestions?

Hi Kalyan,

As your basis team to put the add on for SAP_ABA 7.00 in ECC too,if its not there.i hope that will solve ur problems.

I too had a similar issue with ECC ESA component which got resolved once the Correct component was added in the application system where we need to see the proxies.

Hi Kalyan,

Please check in the ECC system if you have the required SRM component available there.

to check that you need to login to ECC through SAP logon , on the initial screen top menu "systems"

and check the details there ,there will be a search icon below the component information , if you open that you can see the

component present in ECC.

the proxy is created for the component which are already installed in ECC,if SRM is not there then you need to make an

add on installation in ECC to view the related proxies.

If you are able to see SRM component , then there is connection problem,or some settings missing.do a sld check and see if sproxy is able to get data from ESR or it is displaying only the local objects.

there may be the case that you need to upgrade your SLD.

Thanks for the reply...I observed that i didnt find the plugin for SRM in ECC6.0...I guess we need to to install it...Even i didnt find the SAP BASIS SWCV....Can i know the reason why?I will get back to you once i install SRM add-on in ECC6.0...

The SAP BASIS component will be added at the time of installation and these are visible if that component is also present in ECC system,

but the product created withsap.com (vender) will not be visible in the SPROXY.

In general case SAP BASIS is not used directly , if any need please copy the required objects in any other SWCV and you will be able to see.Generally SAP BASIS will have adapter metadata used in PI and some demos which can be coppied if required to be used.
