Dear Friends,

We have imported the support packs for SAP PI 7.1 EhP1 from SAP Marketplace and we have noticed the following files:

XICNTSAPBASIS05_0-10005649.ZIP

SAPABA71105_0-10006153.ZIP

We have noticed that only these files are in zip format and the rest of the files are in SCA or SAR format.

What are the above files for and how to import them? How come only these 2 files are in zip (tpz) format?

This is the "content" for the XI system which is imported directly to the XI/PI application as default content for the backend SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA.

Hello Markus,

How do you import them. Using SPAM/SAINT? These zip files have filenames with the extention ".tpz".

Also, we do have regular patch files KB71105.SAR & KA71105.SAR for ABA & BASIS..

You don't import using SPAM (as I said) but in the integration builder:
