Error message "Maximum character output size limit reach Err_WIS_30272"

Users are getting the Error message "Maximum character output size limit reach Err_WIS_30272" while creating the Universe Query in the Live Office, but when they create the same query in the Web intelligence Report then it work fine.

To resolve this error message we can have to increase the value of "Maximum Character Stream Size" parameter in the Web intelligence Processing Server.

But i want to know the reason why the error message is only appearing in the Live Office Query, where it work fine in Web intelligence Query.

Are there architectural difference in Web intelligence and Live Office?

Hi,

Here is the cause

When you view a Web Intelligence document in HTML format, the Web Intelligence server generates character based output, which is then interpreted by your web browser. This errors occurs, if the size of the character output is greater than the maximum size specified by your administrator for the Web Intelligence server.

Action

An administrator can change the parameters set for Maximum character output on the Administration Console. However, increasing the maximum binary output can affect performance.

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

But users are not getting this error while creating or viewing Web intelligence report.

They are getting thie error message while developing the Live Office Universe Query.

i know that by increasing the Maximum character parameter value this error can be resolved,

but i want to know why the error only occur in Live office?
