Hello,

I've installed on Windows 2003 server 64bits BO XI 3.1 with Tomcat (default version). I want to use BO with our SAP BW servers.

I've installed sapjco3.dll and librfc32.dll into C:\windows\system32 and C:\windows\SysWOW64. And put the sapjco3.jar into J:\BusinessObjects\Tomcat55\common\lib. I've installed too, the saplogon 710.

Then, I launch the SAP Integration Kit setup, I choose "deploy later", Because with the automatic option it fail, and the installation finish without error.

I run wdeploy for PartnerPlatformService.war (J:\BusinessObjects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\java\applications) from tomcat manager but It does not initiate.

After test a connection to CMC or Infoview. I can't connect I've this error message:

/PartnerPlatformService/service/app/logon.do

(sorry the message is in southamerica)

Thankyou for your help !

You should use Java Connector 2.1.x and not the 3.x version. Make sure to download the 32bit windows version (even if your OS is 64bit).

Did you deploy manually all the wars referenced in the installation guide for the int.Kit or just the PartnerPlatformService.war?

If, all and in the same order, but the only ones that do not begin correctly are sap and PartnerPlatformService

Please try the following:

1. Stop the Tomcat

2. Go to <BOBJ installation folder>\Tomcat55\webapps and delegte the following folders:

CmcApp

CmcAppActions

InfoVIewApp

InfoViewAppActions

dswsbobje

openDocument

PartnerPlatformService

SAP

3. Add an system environment variable called CLASSPATH that contains the path to your sapjco.jar file.

3. Restart the Tomcat and wait until the folders you deleted in step 2 are automatically created

Try again to start the InfoVIew

It does not work, I did everything what you indicate and it continues without working.

Will not it be that the kit does not work with S.O. of 64b?

BO Server and the integration Kit work also on 64bit environment. Since BO is not native 64bit you have to use the 32bit drivers and the 32bit version of the JCO.

I would recommend to uninstall everything and try installing the BO Server and then the int.Kit.

Follow for the installation of the int.Kit the instructions given by Ingo in his blogs:

Make sure to install the same versions of the BOBJ and the int.Kit.
