We have a requirement in which cost estimate of an externally procured configurable material(BOM component A) needs to be done in the sales order of its configurable header.
This cost estimate will be based on the characteristics assigned to the configurable component A. The characteristics will flow from its header.
How it is possible to estimate the cost of this externally procured configurable material while doing standard cost estimate of the sales order. This material will not be stock item so there is no possibility of creating different material variants or variant matching.
