Thank, vor die Service. A füll qualified Network Adress, like ABC.def.com sind so it either.

Our "netis" suggest that die s4 Box is Not tristes and italy will nee a certificate Form a trusted

Authority like digicert.

I just wonder why, Not beeing a Security gut, why it works for the Rest of die guys in here.

Hi Martin,

No sure if you have already solved your problem but I just wanted to add that you should be calling the backend server using the name that is covered under the SSL cert and not the IP address.

If you have wildcard SSL cert for example: *.widgets.com and your server is erpserver1 then your connection string would be.

erpserver1.widgets.com:44300

Or if you have a host specific cert then use the name on the cert.

Ensure that server's name is resolvable from your network.

BTW. I don't think the self sign cert will work but I have not tried.

Let us know what the problem was regardless, so others can benefit from your experience.

Cheers

Paul
