HR workflow is not triggered.

Dear all,

I want to trigger workflow from transaction code PV12 when either of the three radio buttons namely firmly booked-optimum,firmly booked-maximum and cancel event is chosen and saved.Having chosen either of the radio button,I saved and checked the event trace(trace is switched on).I don't see any entries in the SWEL.

Is there any business objects for this PV12 transaction code?Also,please let me know whether any HR tables in SWEHR1/2/3 or needs to be updated.

Please suggest for which I will be grateful.

Hello Suresh,

I believe you pretty much got it. Turn the DB trace on (ST05) when saving a record in PV12 and see what infotype is updated.

Thank you so much for your invaluable time.

I got the infotype which is 1026 as per your answer.

I think the business object is PDRELA_025.Still I am not sure.

I think I have to update HR master tables at SWEHR2 for firmly book(optimum),firmly book(maximum) and cancel event.

In SWEHR2, I saw so many activities for PDRELA_025.I am little confused.Also for firmly booked which is the event in business object PDRELA_025 is not known.

Please suggest for which I will be grateful.

Hi Suresh,

If you go into transaction SWo1, and use the drop-down, select 'SAP Applications' and then open up the '' next to Training and Event Management, '' PP09 Training and Event Management, you will see a list of all business objects associated with training and events. From there, you should be able to find the one you are looking for. I would do a where-used, and find out which workflows are linked to these objects.

I got too many business objects.I suppose,PDRELA_025 is suitable for my requirement.

I configured it in SWEHR3, it is no use.But,when I fire the event from SWUE, my workflow triggers.

I suppose some configuration has to be dome at SWEHR2 too.

The object type is up to you. What you need to do is to have an entry in transaction SWEHR1 to indicate that you want to handle changes of that infotype. Then, go to SWEHR3 and link the infotype with the event you want to fire.
