max concurrent connections to system (SAP)

Hi Guys,

In SAP BO4x, CMC->Authorization -> SAP-> Option, there is a parameter call max concurrent connections to system. It means how many connection is kept open to SAP system in BO server.

I have a questions. Is there a best practice for the setting of this parameter? Do I need to restart BO server to make the change active?

Hi Mohammed, thank you for your reaching out. There is another parameter called max users per connection. So if user opens 10 sessions, it still be counted as 1 user. Is it right?

And, if the max connections per system is set to 20 and max users per connection is set to 5, do we have to have 100 or more Dialog Work Processes in SAP system? Thanks again!
