Hi Gurus,
My Client wants to go with HCM Module with out going for payroll license. I want to known what are the limitations with out payroll license, till what extent we can configure in the system.
If u have info or information just guide me.

Whether to go for Payroll module or not its up to management decision & business requirement... one of the client I'm providing services to, is not having payroll module integrated and they are not facing any difficulty as such.
But in such cases lot of customization & development has to be done particularly for generating statutory & payroll related reports (PY-IN:: F16, F24, etc). Although you may use IT0008 for maintaining payroll related data, you will only be using it for reporting purposes only and not for payroll run.
Though one must take into consideration that these developments may interfere at later stages if the client decides to go for payroll integration as well. And believe SAP, may not provide support for this.

Normally HCM package license covers payroll. Anyway it is discussion with SAP sales.
