I'm running SUM patch 18.2 on IBMi

By default the SUMSTART processes run in QSYSWRK subsystem (*BASE pool)
How do I reconfigure SUM to run in a larger memory pool ?

I would be surprised if the SUMSTART processes ran in subsystem QSYSWRK - I would rather expect them to run in QUSRWRK.

Currently I am not aware of any method to configure SUMSTART specifically to run in a different main storage pool. However, you can configure subsystem QUSRWRK to allocate another pool than the *BASE pool for that subsystem and all jobs that run in it. There are no system jobs in that subsystem, but the SAP Host Agent and its dependent jobs are running there. If you are only running SAP applications in the partition, it may be okay to reconfigure the subsystem QUSRWRK to use a different pool than *BASE.

Kind regards,

Christian Bartels.
