Block creation of PO if the release strategies is not applicable

HI SAP,

Can we block creation of PO if the release strategies is no applicable ?

My release strategies is on the PO header. It's only work if the PO have one Plant only. If the user put more then one plant

my release strategies will not work. how to solve this problem ?

Hi,

Check user plant authorization through BASIS consultant.

User creating purchase order all plants authorization to be provided, then create PO line item for multiple plant and SAVE, the PO, the error will not come.

The requirement that my user want is, Only One PO have One plant. Then they can save the PO. if the user entering multiple plant in the line item, they could not save the Purchase Order.

is there USEREXIT for this ?

Pls activate the enhancement: MM06E005. Select the respective function exit and put your own logic with the help of your ABAPer. You can solve your problem.

I think you are giving solution in a wrong track.

What is the business scenario?

If the requirement is for one plant per PO then you can use userexit which will get triggered at the time of saving PO and will give error message if there are more than one plant in a single PO.
