Stuck in QI

We have serial number managed FG material. We do 04 inspection.

Now 04 lot is created in 2005 After that in 2006 business try to scrap material with mov 551 and after that they again reverse with 552. Again they followed same process in 2007 one more time (551 & 552).

I guess there went something wrong at moment of reversal and this reversal asn't completely posted.

Serial number status is "ESTO" but stock type - "unrestricted".

Now if we see stock is still in QI. For inspection lot status is SPRQ - stock posting required. but if we try to do UD system through error - "Serial number not suitable for movement".

If we tried to do cycle count - "system send message stock posting in QM only."

I tried with SAP note 316868 but not working in this case.

We want to remove QI stock. Help would be appreciate.

Hi,

We were stuk in a similar situation with one of our client.

We used SAP UD Reversal note :- 175842. Be cautious while using note.I mean no other tarnscation should be carried out with this material while us are working (as it might create a serial no mis match in live sceanrio).

and since u can not create the scenario in normal circumstance. U need to be very catious.

My Suggestoion :- Take SAP itself in the loop. As they will guide u with same note. This will give u moral boost and a sence of security.

Using this note u can reverse the earlier done UD agsinst inspection lot.

Material will be posted back to the quality but with serial no.

U need to assign these to them (or system might itself do the same).

Then do the result recording agsin and do UD.

I doesn't think mentioned SAP note will help in this case.

We have inspection lot with status SPRQ - stock posting required. If we try to do stock posting system says "serial number does not support for this movement because if you see in serial number profile then stock type is "unrestricted".

So I would say all this happen due to stock inconsistency. How to remove this stock inconsistency?

You can try SAP note:48815. I hope this porgram will remove the stock inconsistencies.

but it says no diff between QM qty and MM qty found.
