We have below business process:
1. Create Sales order with Item Category TAB and schedule line CB.(individual PO)
2. Purchase request and Purchase order is created with account assignment M.
3. Goods receipt is posted and valuation data is stored in EBEW. (Say qty 5, value 2000).
4. Goods are delivered and invoiced to customer.
5. Material is faulty and returns sales order is entered.
6. Outbound delivery is created and goods receipt posted with movement type 653.
7. The quantity is received and valuation data is updated in EBEW. (Say qty 5, 2500).
Question:
Why does system valuate the returns goods receipt according to MAP in MBEW instead of MAP in EBEW? This causes major differences in stock valuation and sometimes the returns are posted with zero value since no MAP is available for that particular material in MBEW.
