BOM explosion

Dear Friends,

Using BOM, I have added sub item to the main item. I dont want my BOM to explode at order level. I want only main item to appear on the sales order. Please help me in understanding what settings are required to do this?

Go To vov8 in display range field select uhau so main items will dislay.

TAQ - Pric.at Header Level

TAP - Pric.at Item Level :

Structure scope: keep it blank i.e Do not explode material structure or C i.e Configuration, no BOM explosion

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I am using item categories TAN & TAL. I have already changed the structure scope to C. This helps in not exploding the BOM but the problem is with goods movement.

When the goods are issued, it should reduce the stock of main item & sub item but it is only reducing the stock of main item. How do I ensure if BOM is not exploded in the sales order it should still reduce the warehouse stock of main item & sub item.

Check your schedule Line cat for both the I cat (main & sub-item).

Maintain them accordingly and determine them.

Check this

ALso try by below method

GOTO OMS2

select your material type (for which stock is not reducing)

click on quantity/value updation

Check the combination of valuation area/ material type and CHECK FOR QUANTITY and VALUE UPDATION
