Hello,
I notice that when I save an existing report with a new file name, it is not displayed in the solution Explorer. The reports that I create from scratch are. I've looked on the Options dialog box but did not see an option that would automatically add save-as reports to the solution Explorer. I don't recall this happening in crvs2008. Is there an option to force all reports to be displayed in the Solution Explorer?
Thank you.
Hello,
I checked this issued in beta 2 and the problem still exists.
Is this on the list of open items to be looked at?
Thank you
Tracy

I am seeing a slightly different behavour than what you described. When I "Save-As" a report (from the VS File menu), what I see is that the Solution Explorer is updated to reflect the newly saved report, and the original report is no longer visible in Solution Explorer. For example, if I have a report named CrystalReport1.rpt, and I "Save-As" CrystalReport2.rpt, the Solution Explorer will only display the newly named report. I tried this with both CR for VS 2010 Beta 2 and CR 2008, and both behave the same.
If you need to see every report (including the original) in Solution Explorer, the solution is to manually re-add it to the project (Project>Add Existing Item).
I need to temporarily close this question, even though it is not resolved because I need to post a more important question
