1.There are 3 positions like: A,B,C.

Reporting structure like: C to B, B to A. incase B is vacant; I want give reporting C to A, instead of Vacant position B.

2. There are 3 positions like : A,B,C. reporting structure is like: C to B, C to A.

Pls advise me on above one....

Hi

Your requirement is

C reports to B, and B reports to A , In case of B Position is Vacancy then that C position will give reports to A Is it right?

In this case we can use the Dual reporting structure like C Reports to B & A

Go to Transaction code PO13, enter the C ID and select the relation ship then create. in that select * Allowed relationship * and selct the relation like A 002 (Reports to) then u can get the screen to whom then give the B Position ID,then save. As same as A also.

my requirement different, forget about last post message.

the requirement is:

there are 3 positions: like A,B,C

reporting structure like

B reports to A,

B reports to C.

so, B is reporting to A and C,

but issue is: when B applies any Claims in ESS, it's trigger to only eaither A or C .

my requirement is if B applies any claims , it should trigger to A and C.

pls advise me on same

Hi Bunny,

1) Reporting can be given to Positions no need of persons. Go to ppom_old, there u access your respective org unit and now press staff assignment. now Go to Reporting Structure, now select A and press Elevate and choose the Assistant position to the position A. select C in your case.

2) C to B -> Select C and press Subordinate and click B. now C is reporting to B. Select A and press Elevate and mark C. now C is reporting to A.

Note:- Just maintain dates for the relationship and objects.

Thanks for your replay,

in my case,

the 3 positions are...A.B.C

i given reporting A reports to B and A reports C, but when A tried to any claims , the reporting triggerd to

either B or C, not going to two positions- B,C,

pls adivise me on above..

in my client facing problem with reporting structure,

there are 3 positions. like A,B,C

but i want make sure that to give reporting structure to A and C.
