BPC and APO DP

Is there any direct integration between BPC and DP or does it go through BW?

I have heard about SAP DUET, but my client may not be installing that.

So I want to understand the integration between APO DP and BPC.

Please let me know your thoughts.

BPC does not have any direct integration with APO Demand Planning. But if they both use the same underlying BW system you could use the BPC Data Manager packages to import/export data to/from BPC and DP.

Hi Jeff,

In other words, can we say that we can import transaction data directly from APO without copying that data into BW?

Can we use the DM function "Import Master Data" to get data straight from APO?

I am referring to a APO cube in APO's backend and not in BW-BW.

Hi,

You dont have standard functionality to do this. Extract DP data into flat file and manually upload into BPC using data manager. Or you need BW as intermediate.
