KO88 BADI /User Exit/Enhancement to update Functional Area FKBER

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to update FKBER while posting settlements in KO88 transaction. We have tried to implement K_SETTLEMENT_1 which had an option to update FKBER, but it did not updare. Can someone point us in the right direction?
