Error Deploying from NWDS

Hello, I am attempting to deploy a DC that was built with Visual Composer in the NWDS and I am getting the following error:

"The user can not be authorized, because doesn't own the (com.sap.engine.interfaces.security.ServiceAccessPermissiondc) permission for deploy controller."

Does anyone know what this means? Is there a particular role that my user needs? I thought I had basically given my user all access on the CE system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Ethan,

what rights did you grant your user on the CE?

Did you try the administrators Group?

Thanks, yesterday I had tried out the Administrators group and that worked. At first I just wouldn't have thought that Administrator privs are required for deploying.

We have the same problem, but don't want to assign administrator authorizations, because administrator authorizations contains to much other permissions.

Does anybody know, what are the needed permissions?
