OM multiple assignments with different company codes 5A195

Hello

we would like to assign a person in organization management multiple times. The positions are assigned to cost centers from different company codes. While saving, the error message 5A195 appears (see text below). The error message is correct because the person in IT0001 is assigned to a cost center with another company code.

example:

Person 1 – Position A – Company Code X (80%) --> IT0001 Company Code X

Person 1 – Position B – Company Code Y (20%)

Our problem is that this type of assignment has worked until at least 2017. So we have people assigned to multiple positions with different cost centers and different company codes. We're not sure what might have changed since then and find no clue why this should not work anymore.

We hope someone has solved this or a similar problem already.

Entry is not allowed (due to K 18121807 and P 00000112)

Message no. 5A195

Diagnosis

This entry would result in a structure containing the cost center and person specified. However, the person has been previously assigned to a controlling area or company code different from that of the cost center, or the cost center is locked for primary posting.

None of the above cases allows this cost center to be assigned.

Procedure

Check your entries. If the controlling area assignment or company code assignment of the person is to be changed, you can do so using Personnel Administration Transactions.

    Hello Christopher,

thank you for your proposition. We looked at the topic but would probably need to make major changes to the System.

Nevertheless we could solve the problem. After playing around with the T77S0 we activated the switch PLOGI EVENB.This has solved the Problem.

    Best regards

    Alex

Have you looked at concurrent employment?
