Multiple Selection for selecting member from hierarchy in Design Studio

Hello,

We have regional hierarchy in bex which starts like

+COUNTRY
+United State
+United Kingdom
+Asia
+Europe

I am trying to display it as

+United State
+United Kingdom
+Asia
+Europe

I tried to do filtermember by editing initial view but its not allowing selection of multiple hierarchies, and if I select United States it only shows US

Is it something achievalble by using code? My apologies as I am trying to do the same I did for Webi, where I can do multiple selection of my choice to display the hierarchies.

Thank you Tammy, I have viewed this article but here I am trying to apply this on the Dimension Filter, as soon as they select the dimension filter the pop up window comes where we see all the parent and leaves over there I would like to apply the restriction.

Unfortunately the dimension filter has OnApply component only, not OnSelect

Thank you Tammy for looking in to this, not exactly the same thing. I just wanted to have my hierarchy start from next to the root level, my root is + Country, so I would like to get the display by hiding the root or by starting the hierarchy from nth leaf or child.

Due to data security I cannot have the screenshot though, I would try to replicate in other system and share.
