Leave Request Approval is changing mode to Request Mode

Hi Together,

I have a weird behavior in MSS, Leave Request Approval. The Team Calendar is showing the wrong content. I was able to debug it down to a mode change. When The Manager calls the Request from the Universal Worklist it goes into the backend with MODE ‘A’ for approval. The System checks in HRESS_C_LEA_TEAM_CALENDAR- READ_CALENDAR_DATA if the mode equals the approval mode and if that is the case (well it is the case…) it switches the mode to Request Mode R per SAP Note 2489803

This has the effect that the configuration from V_PTREQ_TEAM is read from the employee and not from the Manager and therefore the team members are wrong (Manager has more than one department).

Why is that and what can I do about it?
