Hello Experts,

i am working for a manpower company have lots of different type of payroll calculation and have a new client and his requirement is like that. his payroll should to generate from 19 of the last month to 18 of the current month.

if i have to run January payroll then payroll and time sheet would be - 19.12.2018 - 18.01.2019

if emp hire on 30Dec- emp should to receive the salary for Dec 2days(30 & 31) and January 18 days(from 1 January to 18th January), total salary should be only 20days only.

Thanks in Advance - ITS URGENT.

Hi,

Some guess (you can try this in sand box/ IDES system):

Try to create a period parameter(v_t549a) with payroll period as 19/xx/xxxx to 18/yy/yyyy in table v_t549q (with relevant payroll period). Run time evaluation up to 18th of current month. Update payment date as 31st of current month (in table v_t549s). For all the payroll runs, time evaluation will go for 2 months (13 days in month 1 & 18 days in month 2).

regards,

Bala

Please note that very Payroll request is URGENT but that this Forum is answered on a Voluntary Basis.

No matter what the Payroll Period (Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, etc.), there usually always are employees that are hired mid-period, and there are many Discussion Threads on the subject of Payroll Proration, on Processing Class 10, and on Partial Period Parameters.
