Unable to view release transport

Hi Gurus,

I have just refresh my Development (DEV) system and built a new QAS system. I also managed to configure STMS between DEV, QAS and PRD>

One of the Abapers managed to release a transport from DEV in SE01. However, when I went to STMS, i could not view the release transport in DEV or QAS. Both DEV and QAS is sharing a same transport directory. I check the transport tool and no error found.

Appreciate your advice.

Can you please check in SE01, if the transport is listed under local requests. Local requests cannot be transported and won't be visible in STMS. In that case your developer would need to create a new request with the same objects.

Hi Michael,

Its not a local request. I have to add the transport in both DEV and QAS manually in order for it to be transported. I am not sure why it could not be seen in STMS after transport release.

Hi intanazir. Did you solve this problem? You say you had to manually add the transport to Dev as well? That's interesting. In which Dev was the transport released - the pre-refresh Dev or the refreshed Dev? For a transport to disappear from the originating system, something must be very wrong. One of the things I would have asked you to check is table E070 to see evidence of the transport. Anyway, hope you came right.
