Hi
Is there a way to activate web service via Transaction SOAMANAGER? I've created a service and endpoint for a webservice, however, in transaction SOAMANAGER, I can find no place to activate the service, the state of the service always shows "inactive". Does anybody perhaps know how to fix this. I already checked transaction SICF, the webservice is activated there.
Many thanks guys.
Hi,
Ignore "inactive" state, if you are able to configure service then it will work just fine.

Hi,
are you sure that your service is active?
1. Go to SE84 --> Enterprise Service
-> Search for your service
Activate service.
2. SOAMANAGER
- Search for your webservice
- mark your service
- Apply Selection
Tab Configuration --> Edit --> Save
After Save the service should be activated.
Info:
The SOAMANAGER creates in the background RFC destinations in SM59.
Maybe an authorization problem. I suggest you make a authorization trace.
I had a similar problem. --> Missing authorization
