Hello Experts,
We have configured a few tiles for classical UIs (SAP GUI transactions, Web Dynpro apps) on the Fiori Launchpad (using a hub gateway). We have correctly setup the HTTP Connections (S4FIN, S4SCM etc.) of type H on our front-end server.
When we tried accessing these classic UI tiles from the launchpad initially we got a content blocked error in IE11 browser and insecure response error in Google Chrome. We then imported the corresponding S/4HANA back-end system's self-signed certificate into the browser's trusted root certification authorities; after this the classic UI tiles opened fine in IE11 but in Google Chrome we are still unable to open these.
What is the best way to avoid this problem? From the end user's perspective, it is not feasible to expect them to import the certificates individually in their respective machines - what is the best practice to overcome the certficate related issues while accessing classical UI tiles from the FLP?
Regards,
Saurabh
Will just configuring SSL on the backend system help in preventing the importing of the SSL certificate b the individual end users?
