PCo 15.2 failing to connect Pro-face OPCEx

Hi all,

I've been facing an issue when connecting PCo 15.2.2.3547 to Pro-face OPCEx. I have PCo and OPC installed on the same box and here is some of the config:

Source System: I've created OPC DA source system and was able to see the OPC server listed on the Server tab.

Agent Instance: I've created an agent instance using a free port (9003). I was able to browse and subscribe to the tags of the given OPC server.

Windows Services: .Net Sharing port and OpcEnum are running on Windows Server 2016

It looks good until I start the agent instance. It shows the Starting icon and never goes to started or stopped. I can't even stop it manually cause the Stop button is grayed out. I've collected the verbose logs and I'm attaching it here for your appreciation.

Thanks for any input you guys might have.

Hi Ricardo,

can you share more details on the configuration of source and agent. and once you created the source is the test connection was successful .? What is your agent's notification processing settings and IS there any notifcaiotn configured and how they trigger ?

We will be writing data to tags, therefore there is no need of notifications. There is no testing option for source system config, however the fact of being able to see the OPC server available on the Server tab and also being able to subscribe to tags means PCo can see the OPC server. As a side note, I can read/write to tags just fine using Pro-face OPC Client. Thanks for your comment.

Quick update.

I've updated PCo to 15.2.3.3682 but the issue still remains the same.

Thanks!
