Custom process chain component

Hi Guru:

Now all of our process chain are assigned to component BPC: System.

I wonder whether there is a way to use another component, and we could select from the component when create a package?

    Hi Eric,

If I understand your question correctly you would like to reorganize the Process Chains displayed from BW transaction RSPC so they will not be listed under BPC: System. I do not think you are able to change the organization of the SAP delivered process chains less you copy them to Z process chains under your own component groupings. I was wondering why might that be the need to reoganize the BPC: system area be important to you? If you want to submit this as an enhancement request to SAP Solution Managers, please submit your idea to and then locate the area for [BPC NW|]

You may be aware, but I'll mention anyhow that from the BPC front end you can add Data Manager Package Groups and move packages between the groups to arrange the packages any way you wish for your end users to see.

    Best regards,
