send notification in outlook

Hi Gurus,

I'm trying to optimize a workflow. Instead of sending it to sap inbox, the client wants to send it to outlook only. there's a program that will capture userid of the recipient. when i include this userid in my task and run the report RSWUWFML2 to send email to outlook it doesnt do anything. and the status becomes error. can you recommend another approach on how to achieve my requirement?

SO16-> Mail Sy Grp->Select Send to home addresses of users

Make sure you have maintained outlook id in SU01

Hi,

Check if the mail id you passed or SCOT settings are correct.

Another option is that you can create a mail step and add the outlook mail id as the recepient.

You can try the below settings :

SO16-> Mail Sy Grp->Select Send to home addresses of users

Make sure you have maintained outlook id in SU01

capture that recepient and put it in your STEP and not TASK.

Make your TASK as GENERAL and try.

What was the error by the way?
