Operation Number Based Inspection Lots

Hi,

I am having an inspection plan with 10 operations and inside each operations characteristics are maintained.

When I create a manual inspection lot for this inspection plan, how can I create a lot for any one operation alone. I dont want other operations to be shown during result recording. How can I do this, without changing master data frequently.

Any option for selecting inspection operations while creating a lot.

Thanks

Creating manual inspection lot once and do result recording for operations with inspection point functionality. This will meet my requirement

When I create a manual inspection lot operation wise confirmation is possible but only a lot can be created for all operations.

Sujith,

I am using an inspection plan with many operations, for a material. But during audit, I will inspect only one operation.

Ques 1

Can I delete other operations in any way from result recording /QA32 screen

Ques 2.

We can call additional MIC's during result recording. In that way, can we call an operation and all MIC's of this material to QA32 screen. Not by individual MICs.

Thanks

Can you not keep the task list blank or simply one common operation & then call "Unplanned char" which is dynamically inserted during RR.

Check this concept

Sujith Good idea, I also thought the same way u did. But, I need a functioanlity like copy characteristic from another task list. So that user can copy operation MIC's in one go. I mean operation wise MIC copying.

If he assigns MIC as unplanned, he will not have a reference to copy these MIC's. Each time he have to assign MIC manually. It results in error and he may not know what to assign also.

So I am looking for 2 options

Provision to select only one operation during creation of an inspection lot. Even though the tasklist may have many operations.

Or

If all operations are assigned as in standard to the inspection lot. Is there any way to delete all unnecessary operations from the lot before result recording and keep only required operation. Result recording will be done only for this operation.

I appreaciate any thoughts which can result in a good brainstorming

Thanks

You can not delete the operations from inspection lot once its created

But Even though its possible time require to delete the operations will be same as time require to add a char.

may be you can do some enhancement to reduce the time to select/add the new char.

Hi,

1- Using of unplanned MIC is ruled out due to the quantum of data. This will not meet my requirement.

2- Deletion of operation from an inspection lot also not possible I think. If yes, in any way, please let me know.

3- Creation of inspection lot, by selection of desired operations from an inspection plan with many operations also may not be possible..

For 2 and 3, if there is any work around please let me know.

Now, can someone tell me, how to do operation wise confirmation after result recording for a manually created inspection lot. This may helpful when 2 and 3 not going to work.

This requirement is for operation wise product audit for a material. I can copy characteristic from a routing. But each time I do audit, I will do it for one operation only. Thats Y, I am trying for deleting all other operations from inspection lot which I created manually.

Thanks
