Storage Units in WM, putaway from Production before all declaration is made

Hello,

I would like to know what steps or customizing to take into account , when i have Full WM with storage units management (without HUM); and if want to move the Storage units when they exit from the production line

I mean i dont want to wait that the production order is confirmed to be able to move the pallets to the stock

i need to handle storage units when they come out from the production line and move them to the stock (real time movement)

So what to do in WM ? and/or in PP ?

It is possible to do the putaway in WMS w/o previous GR in IM, for details you should read SAP online help which provides the steps of necessary customizing and steps of the scenario:

(When you putaway the positive quant a negative quant will be created - this negative quant will be neutralized via the PrdOrd confirmation.)

Hi

If the production is not confirmed wether totally or a certain amount at a time there will be no 'Finished stock' there for you to put away

You will need te production to carry out 'partial confirmations' each time you have a SU to put away.

The idea of the confirmations against a production order is two-fold

1. To create the finished/semi finished product and

2. To consume the compomenets that went in to making this product
