Hi All !
SAP provides only 10 characters for the batch field (CHARG).
We need 12 characters.
Has anyone dealt with this issue?
What are my options?

Doing some research and encountered this old thread. For anyone else also searching on the topic, this question is addressed by OSS note 1847487:

It is not possibe to change the length of a standard field. SAP do not allow to change, because it effects many tables
Raise a ticket with SAP in service market place.

Thanks for pointing me to that link.
It is unlikely that our management is going to allow us to make a mod to the system.
However, changing the data dictionary appears to be our only option.
Any other ideas?
