Hello Experts,

I would like to know where we can make this choice for a company code to have either Dunning by Dunning Procedure or Dunning by collection strategy.

Thanks for your attention

Regards

Venkat

Venkat:

Table TFK001B - company code settings - has field 'Master data grouping' which indicates whether collections strategy is to be used. A value in that field (contract or account) will indicate that strategies are used instead of procedures. In the IMG, it is the first node under FICA > Org settings.

regards,

bill.

Hi,

If the debt collection process is too complex, and huge coding needs to be done to map the business process, then you can go for dunning by collections strategy.

If you want to use dunning by collections strategy, you need to implement BRF (Business Rule Framework) in FI-CA.Thru BRF, you can set up your own collections process as per your requirment with minimal coding. It is a sort of flexible dunning.

Thanks,

Amlan
