No Default values are show in the Crystal reports

Hello Experts,

I have a CR that are based on a Bex Query (use MDX). In this Bex query we have two Bex Variables process by an Costumer Exit), that gives us in Step 1 a default value back, for example current period.

But if i execute the CR in the CR designer or on Info View i do not see the default values for this variables.

In the query i do see the default values for this two Bex variables.

I ecpect that CR (with MDX) will provide this feature.

SAP BW 7.1

XI 3.1

CR SP 2 FP 2.4

SAP INT KIT SP2

SAP INT KIT FP 2.4

Have anyone any idea in this case..........Thanks Michael Eigenmann

hi,

there is a slight misunderstanding because an EXIT doesn't really have a DEFAULT and you can not define a DEFAULT in the BW query when using an EXIT variable. BEx Analyzer is simply showing the first entry as selected value and that behavior is different with Crystal Reports - the user has to select the value.
