Tracking of surplus material

Dear All,

Our client is in construction business and have operations across India. The Spares parts inventory maintaned for construction equipments. Now after analysis it is found that very high value items didn't moved / consumed for more than 1 year.

So it is decided by management to have sepaarte track of such materials. So we created a virtual storage location in system as "Surplus" location under each plant and all such material stcok trasferred to this storage location.

But now difficulty is phsical storage location and SURPLUS storage location of material doen't match as there is only one SURPLUS location in system. And having multiple SURPLUS locations will create confusions.

Is there any way I can define sub-stores under SURPLUS storage location in a plant ?

or Any other alternative which will fulfill the requirement.
