Hi Gurus,
We are encountering an issue on one of the Reports wherein, a Key Figure is overstated by 100, i.e if the value of the Key Figure is 50 $ , on the report it shows as 5000 $.
Some basic information about this key figure:
-- This key figure is derived while loading the infocube by multiplying two other key figures.
-- The multiprovider output of this KF shows correct value , i.e, 50$
-- The Key figure is showing correct values for most of the Sales Orgs but is overstating only for a couple of Sales Orgs. So this overstating behovior is not consistent.
-- The Currency defined for this KF is Local Currency.
-- There is no currency conversion happening on the BeX; Setting here is default.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem before? Could you provide any pointers to debug this issue, what are the possible areas to check this strange behavior?
Any pointers, leads will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Warm Regards,
Shwati
Hi Shwati:
Modify your query definition, add the "InfoProvider" Characteristic (located on the Package Dimension) this can give you an idea (source Cube) of why you get the overstated values when reporting from the Multiprovider.

Hi Fransico,
The reports are on Multiprovider and not on infoset.

Hi Shwati:
An InfoSet could be causing this strange behavior, if this is the case take a look at the blog series provided by Sunmit Bhandari (I'm not sure if you're using an Infoset besides the Multiprovider).

Sorry to have missed this point before - All the key figures on this Report are showing the same behavior for a couple of Sales Orgs.
And the BeX setting for all of these are defaulted to below :
Decimal Places - Not Defined
Display - Not Defined
Thanks..

This doesn't look like an issue at the backend level because you are getting correct data at Multiprovider level. So something wrong at the Front end side.
May be you can try re-generating the query from RSRT and see if this fixes the issue.
Goto RSRT -> enter your query -> click on generate report.
Is there any setting done in the Key Figure properties for Scaling factor at Query Designer or Backend Level?

You are facing this issue while running the report in all three RSRT, BEx and WAD?
