Hi Mark,

SAP is system is running, Users are logged in and able to their activity. Database check i was able to do, no error messages. Brbackup and Brarchive working no errors, only update statistic having issues...

Thanks.

Perhaps this is being caused by PSAPTEMP, that it cannot add data to this tablespace.

Can you check if your filesystem is full during this message?

Check note 548221 - Temporary Files are created as sparse files

Have you modified anything in the system? Tablespaces, kernel upgrade, etc.?

Kind regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Last week we update the tablespace for psapsr3, apart from that no update to the system wise. We have enough space for data around 350 GB..(u01,u02 and u03)

Pos. Tablespace Files/AuExt. Total[KB] Used[%] Free[KB] MaxSize[KB]

1 PSAPTEMP 1/1 2048000 0.00 2048000 10240000

Thanks.

Hi,

255 as a byte-edge sounds like some max...limit beinig hit.

do you run brconnect as sidadm (DB13) or orasid ?

Please check "ulimit -a" for the user involved.

Please check initSID.ora for the value of db_files.

Linx Kernel settings ok for maximum number of open files ?

Weird... Is your database in open mode? And is the SAP system running?

Can you perform a database check with brconnect?

Kind regards,

Mark
