Copy Adobe Form and Interface from one SAP system to another

Hi,

I am new to Adobe forms development.

I have a requirement to copy an existing Z form and interface in an SAP instance to another fresh instance.

The form was developed using WD ABAP.

Is there any easy way of achieving this (by Importing in SFP transaction?) than re-creatnig the form from scratch?

If yes, please provide the steps.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Uma.

Thank you very much,

I wanted to know if anything could be done at all without using LCD?

It isn't installed for me in my GUI and did not want to install as I might not need it for anything other than this 1 Form.

Thanks again for your valuable inputs.

Regards,

Uma.

If you would have to/ need to install it:

SAP version of LiveCycle Designer

Note 1121176 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 - Installation

Note 1253121 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 - Patch

Note 1176858 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1 Installation

Without LCD (hopefully): transaction SFP, Tools, Upload/ Download form.

If the interface is not that big, I would recreate it manually. If it is big, I would use SAP link. How to use SAP link is no longer Adobe related question. Please google here a little to find out.

To move a form: You can use import/ export in SFP transaction or (how I do it) you can generate the form in one system (get the PDF file), open it in LCD outside SAP (from your program files), copy the form structure and paste it into the SAP LCD window. For details search a little again, because this topic has been discussed here few times before and therefore it should not be a problem to find some clues.
