We need to send e-invoices to the Italian government and we will use PO/PI to do it. Is there documentation on this? I have the XSD for the XML that we need to send but have not figured out the digital signature.
All help is appreciated.
We wanted to avoid going through a 3rd party and handle it all ourselves. And I am prepared to write the code, if necessary, to add the digital signature to the document. However I have gotten just enough detail from the Italian government site to know they have particular requirements that are not easy to do, especially since they don't give any detail on it.
It looks like everyone uses a third party or uses SAP e-Documents which, from what I have been told, is not cheap.

Unfortunately no, we are still on 7.40 SP 18. Do you know if anyone has managed to do this for Italy?

Hi David,
We have partially implemented this on our system (payload only), but most likely the signature piece is handled by the third party that we work with to push the information to the Italian government. What are the specifics regarding the digital signature piece that you have mentioned?

Hi David,
do you use PI/PO with release 7.50?
I'm asking since you may consider to use the local CPI runtime on PI/PO 7.50 instead of reimplementing the same logic on PI which is not that easy for Italy.

Hi Holger,
We have the similar requirement and have SAP PO 7.5 in our landscape. When we click on deploy button in Integration Content of Cloud Integration Content Management Cockpit is throwing the below error.
"Virus scan is disabled on the system"
As per the note:2266024, the virus scan in SAP PO - NWA Java system properties enabled by default, but still getting the this error.
Kindly suggest on this
Thanks,
Boopathi
