When i enter a sales order with quantity 20 and run the ATP i found only 16 knowing that i check back the plant and i see that there is much more quantity in the plan and the storage location

can any one help ?

Ensure that safety stock is not maintained in material master MRP3 view for that particular material. Also ensure that no delivery is created and saved without doing PGI which you can check in VL06G.

Please check MD04 for planned deliveries and orders. You need to delete these orders and deliveries as the stock is commited in these.

Please check the material is allocated for any other reserved stock in tcode MMBE.

i checked the stock and all what it contain from in order stock and the scheduled for delivery and the unrestricted quantity

the unrestricted quantity is much more !!

Don't check stock, stock may have been committed for other requirements. Check the availability overview in the order itself or using transactions availability overview (CO09) or Stock/Requirements List (MD04). What you see as cumulative ATP quantity is what is available and not what is in stock.

Thanks for your helpfull answer but it still the same i check but its not working for the first part what u mean exactly with the second part ?

when i go in the schedule page in sales order i see that it not be scheduled to another day so it still open with no confirmed quantity i check the plant and storage location and i see that there is soo much of it there.

This is classic ATP, What you in the stock is not fully available to you as it has been taken off (soft reserved) for other committments like other sales orders, deliveries etc. If you see the availability overview, it will show you what's happening in terms of stock, receipts and Requirements (MRP elements including the current order).
