Hi Gurus,

Wanted to know about QI07.

There are many unnecessary inspection lots of 01 type created probably running of QI07 in the system.

User is not aware of running any such transaction.

After seeing the log, came know QI07 is run and more than 15000 unnecessary inspection lots got created?

How to further find out why this got created?

How to delete this unwanted lots from the system?

Please guide me.

This can only happens if some one go to QI07 & select all lots click on "Create Inspection lot"

This is the only reason.

Now you can not delete the lots but you can put LTCA status to them by canceling them in Mass.( LSMW/BDC)

These lot will be automatically vanish once the GR for the respective PO is created.

Hii,

T-code QI07 is used to display worklist for Source Inspection. Worklist are generally created for each P.O order line item/Schedule lines. If the Qinfo record is maintained for material/vendor combination and activated for Source inspection, then for each P.O created system produces this worklist and from here u can release it maually to generate Inspection lot.

The above process can also be carried out at the background automatic lot genration using T-code QA51 (SChduling for Source Ispection. In ur case the Source Inspection lot generation activated at the background. If u want to cancel goto QA52 , delete the scheduling profile.

there must be some schedule or program running in back ground for this.

please check and delete it.

according to me u need to archive these lots...
