Activating the EHP4

I have installed the ERP 6.0 (ECC - abap component) EHP4 ready , now while i am trying to activate the business functions using SOLMAN , the guide says that the system should be under ERP in SMSY instead of ECC , in SOLMAN the EHP4 ready abap system is already under the ECC components ...

How to change the specification or any other tasks are required to be performed.

Hi,

First thing, I want to point out that You need to upgrade your EHP4 ready system to EHP4 level otherwise system will not be usable.

Second you need to change the product of your system to ERP in SMSY.

Hello,

Please read carefully note 1122966. There is a reference to the procedure to change a system from ECC to ERP in SMSY.

Please note that even a system with ERP 6 as product version in the header data will have an instance called 'ECC server', don't get confused by that. The product version you have to look for is in the 'header data' tab.
