How to deactive archiving

Hi,

I have posted lots of billing document in my company code but i am unable to see these billing documents, system shows the given below message:-

Billing document 90038172 does not exist

Message no. VF041

Diagnosis

The billing document you specified does not exist.

This document was possibly archived.

Could any one tell me what's the reason behind this? I think so archiving is activate in my company code so how can i deactivate archiving
