Validation module Negative figures support

Hi BPC MS experts,

Does the validation module knock off +ve and -ve values. E.g. if an entity has +1500 and another -1500, will BPC knock off and show the result as 0 or will sum it up.

How do you configure to make sure it knocks down to zero, which is the desired result
