Maximum Lot Size does not considered in Location Heuristics

Hi APO Gurus,

I would like to inquire why the maximum lot size does not considered everytime we run the Location Heuristic.

For Instance,

Maximum Lot Size=5,000

Rounding Value=80

Lot Size=Periodic (Weekly)

Please be informed that the maximum lot size is not a multiple of the rounding value

When we run location heuristic, then we have a demand of 16,000, 4 Purchase Requisitions will be created.

3 of the purch req will have a quantity of 5,040 (which is above the maximum lot size) while the other purch req will

have a quantity of 880.

KIndly advise if an OSS note is needed for the solution of the problem.
