Lock NOT set for: Condensing the Data in an InfoProvider error ...

Hi Experts,

We are trying to compress data in infocube but batch job failing due to below error.

"Lock NOT set for: Condensing the Data in an InfoProvider" , it didnt help us after system restart also, please help me on this.

Hi,

I think your concurrent lock is not set properly. Please check the concurrent lock of your application.

Hi,

You need to login to BPC Admin. Go to your application and expand concurrent lock. Keep only entity, time and category as yes and the rest as no.

sorry, I forgot to mention that we are using BPC NW 7.0 version (SP7) , please guide me towards this.

Hi All,

We are finally able to figure it out the issue, there was one failed request exists in infocube caused the issue, we disabled it and rerun compression, it went fine.
