Excess goods issue against reservation

Good Morning Friends,

I have a unique requiremnt.

When ever a production order is released, reservation is made for the BOM components which are the part of the production order. The goods issue is done using MB1a or MIGO. As soon as the actual goods issue done exceeds the reservation quantity, the relevant line item disappears from the MB1a or MIGO tranasaction.

Client requirement:

As soon as the excess goods issue is done, the line should not disappear from MIGO or MB1a but it should be greyed out and all the details like material, batch, storage location should appear as second line item which should allow goods issue.

Please help on this.

Check backflush( Material master MRP-2 View) is active for the reserved materials. If it is active, auto GI will be taken place after confirmation,

Check withought issue material through MIGO/MB1A, is there any mavement is taken place for that reservation.

Dear ,

Try to use back flash indicator rather issueing through MIGO or MB1A .Please follow the below steps to carry out the same :

1.In material master MRP2 view of the item , Backflash field should be kept -1-Alaways back Flash

2.In work Center where the routing operations are done , -Goto-Basic Data View -Back Flash Indicator -to be marked .

3.In Master Recipie Componenet Alocation Tab -Item Line -Back Flash Indicator to be ticked once assinged to a particualr operation .

4.In OKP4 keep the All Components under Goods Movement option ticked so that system posts the withdrawal of all components displayed in the overview as a backflush

5.In OPK4 -General Individual Entry , you can mark Act Cost & Act.Goods Movement and Error in Incorrect Goods Movement /Cost both the option .

Priority will be always Work centre even you keep the Material master MRP2 view kept always back flash .

Try the above functionality and revert

Thanks for the reply.

We are not using the functionality of backflush as the client does not wants the auto goods issue during confirmation.

Please give some other solution.

In your case , check with the below Enhancement for goods movement agsint production order components and discuss the same with your ABAPer

1.PPCO0009 Enhancement in goods movements for prod. process order

2.PPCO0023 Checks changes to order components

3.PPCO0001 Application development: PP orders

4.PPCO0008 Enhancement in the adding and changing of components
