CEReportSource.dll failed to register on Win2K8 R2 Server

Hi All,

About a year ago we ran into this eror when running our installers using CR Merge Modules but we fixed it using Ludek's [advice|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/13427] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];. And everything for the last year has worked perfectly until now, when we ran the same installers on a Win2k8 R2 box and the installers fail with the same CEReportSource.dll failed to register error. Using the dependancy walker I can see I'm missing the MSVCR80.dll. But this .dll should've been installed with the Microsoft_VC80_CRT_x86.msm, right? Am I missing something? Do I need to change anything in the installers to work on Win2k8 R2 servers?

Thanks,

Dave

Use Dependency Walker to find out what component is missing. If a dll can't be registered it's because one of the dependencies are missing. Only CR XI R2 SP 6 and CR 2008 SP 2 are supported on Windows 2008.
