Change Authorization Data and Expert Mode for profile Generation options are invisible in PFCG

Hi All,

I am in BW system where I am trying to create a role using PFCG. I have all required authorizations for Role administration. When I go to Authorization tab, i am unable to see options for change Authorization Data and expert mode for profile generation in change mode. My colleague with same authorizations and user parameters see the options for change profile data. Authorization trace is successful and doesn't reflects any missing authorization. I found old thread where user was facing same issue

mentioned it was fixed with some BW settings. Does anybody have idea what exactly are these BW settings?

Thanks for response. I have already checked the authorizations and those are sufficient for change access. I have found the solution and reason for this. It was a custom transaction variant created for PFCG which is set as default for all, variant is set to make profile change option invisible.

can you please share a screen shot? What S_USER* auths do you have? Have you checked SU56 to make sure your user buffer doesn't need to be refreshed?
