How to insert textedit ui element in ALV

i need to insert textedit ui element in one of the column of ALV.

There is no text edit ui element as cell editor in tables yet.

There is a way out, you can have a link which opens a popup to show the text or to edit the text.

hi

currently i have an input field with length 150. its too long. is ti possible to increase the height of input field for every 50 char. i mean after i enter 50 char the next character should come in second line

If you don't want to edit the ALV cell then you use the Textview, there is a option wrapping otherwise it's not possible.

No you cann't use the TExtedit in ALV cell.

I think textedit is not supported.

check the class names start with cl_salv_wd_uie*
